Launching new products

Product launchJeff Walker is a well known internet marketer and I've recently reviewed his Product Launch blueprint. His concepts come across in a way that is easy to understand and make complete sense.

If you are looking at promoting a new, or existing, product or service, I would highly recommend reviewing his formula, which you can view in two parts that are listed below.

The first part of his formula is a bit about his background as well as his strategy to product launches. In the second part he describes his tactics on product launches, which is the more interesting bit.

He covers the tools, sequences, triggers and offers he believes work best for product launches.

The tools include email, blogs, video and audio. The sequences of events covers joint-ventures, pre-launch, launch and post launch activities. He describes the mental triggers, including scarcity of the product or service, events for promotion, stories, communities and interaction with his audience. The offer is focused on what his (potential) customers get, how and when they get it, the price and the guarantee that is offered.

Have a listen, it is worthwhile and although it is focused on commercial businesses, it will also work for social business.
