A model South African social business

The Grameen Danone partnership is, in my view, a model social business.

The attached image shows the ideal social business model in the context of South Africa, where the suppliers of the raw materials, product manufacturers, sales people and customers are all in the Second economy.

The investors could be from the First or Second economy, but they have no ownership in the social business and only get paid back their investment as a loan typically would.
